Well, I'm going to start this lovely Monday morning off with a nice list of pet peeves! That's right, you've been warned! I'm about to do some major complaining!
Ready?
1. It really upsets me when I do something nice for someone and they don't even say thank you. What is wrong with people? Didn't your mother teach you any manners?
2. When something bad happens to someone and you tell them you're sorry. Then they say, "It's not your fault." I know it's not my fault! I'm just being nice.
3. When someone fishes for a compliment. Don't do this at anytime. Ever. It looks desperate.
4. When parents don't control their kids. For example: There were 3 kids throwing food at a birthday party this weekend and the parents just sat there and laughed. Nice parenting.
5. When someone volunteers my services without asking me first. I'm sorry, but I hadn't planned on taking the time to paint your entire house.
6. When the person checking you out at the grocery store doesn't acknowledge you. When they don't say hello or thank you, it pisses me off. What happened to good customer service?
7. The grocery store "money saving cards." Do you have your Kroger Plus Card? Do you have your Rewards Card? Crap! I changed purses and left it in another purse.
Then they tell you to fill out another form. UM NO! I just put $200 of groceries into this cart, just give me the damn discount!
8. People who throw cigarette butts anywhere they please. They'll just be standing there puffing away and then toss the cigarette on the ground still burning. Smokey the Bear says only you can prevent forest fires.
9. Traffic lights that only let one car go through at a time. What does that solve? NOTHING! It just increases the risk of an accident because people begin to run the light. Just sayin.
10. People who talk in the movie theater. SHUT UP! Seriously!

i can relate to sooo many of them ESP #1 & 2!!! oh yes and 6...come on people- i've worked as a hostess and receptionist and even if im having a horrible day i fake it and still try to be nice to EVERYONE that comes my way at work. i don't get why others dont understand thats their job. don't like it? dont work where you have to be nice to customers....get new job. lol

My husband had a friend once who asked him to help her move "soon." He said OK. She called him on a Friday night at 11 p.m. (he was out with friends) and left a message saying they were moving at 7 a.m. the next day. He didn't get it in time and when he did, he went right over, but it was around 10 or 11. She spent all day giving him crap about showing up late. They're no longer friends!
I can relate to a lot of your pet peeves. My dh would so agree on #7 he has not set foot back into Krogers because of it.

so I agree with every single pet peeve on your list!! Its so funny bc the other day i was trying to ask you what your pet peeves where on your formspring but it kept giving me an error everytime I would click enter. lame-o.
