Throwback Thursday

Oh how I loved my Barbie Dreamhouse!!!

Remember these little mini chiclets gum pieces. I think I tried to put the whole packet in my mouth at once when I was a kid.

Everybody remembers this commerical. Reach out. Reach out and touch someone.
I vaguely even remember crying at one or two of these commercials.

There's something about an Aqua Velva man. That was the slogan.

Were you a Sesame Street kid?

Don't worry. "We'll return after these messages."

Anyone remember this Richard Simmons "Slimmons" snack?

Remember when over the counter medicine used to come in these tin boxes?

You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have The Facts of Life, The Facts of Life!

Remember The Fry Guys? Ahhh, memories.

Remember the constant reminders through the week about the upcoming Movie of the Week or Sunday Night Movie?

Remember the original M&M's? Before the red ones and before the blue ones.
There were only brown, light brown, green, yellow and orange.

Whew! That was a trip down memory lane huh?

That Ally... what a whiner...
I didn't have a Barbie Dream house, and I'm not making a big deal of it...

Oh how I loved my Dreamhouse. Years later, when I was getting rid of a buch of old toys, I took it out of the box where I'd stored it and it was SO much smaller than I remembered.

I remember the fry guys, how funny! Loved me some Chiclets, I always had a huge wad of gum in my mouth because I would eat the whole bag of them! Love you, thank you for being such a wonderful friend!

My brother was terrified of going through the car wash when we were kids because of the spinning things with rags or whatever all over them. We attempted to convince him they were Fry Kids, haha. It didn't work but I haven't been able to forget them since.
