I'm still alive (thank God) and still loving the 80s! :)

I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to those of you who took the time to check on me whether it be by sending an e-mail, sending a card or by calling or texting. Thank you so much for the nice get well cards, presents, and well wishes. I honestly thought I was going to die. I haven't been through this much pain ever in my life and I've been through enough illness to last me a lifetime. I am doing better, not 100% by any means, but getting there.

I do believe I am on the mend. I'm feeling like myself again and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Again, thank you to those of you who brightened my days and helped lift my spirits these past couple of weeks. I am very grateful. May God Bless each and every one of you.

*For those of you who have no idea what is going on with me...I have a condition called endometriosis. I have had 2 procedures done in the last month and I had some major complications*

Now, let's quick talking about all the bad stuff and get to the good stuff! The 80s!!

I can remember my mom loving Dynasty. Can you still hear the theme in your head? I can!

You know you loved the Zack Attack band. Check out the next Saved By the Bell pic.

Hot Sundae! "Put your mind to it, go for it, get down and break a sweat! Rock and Roll, you ain't seen nothin yet."

Remember when Carol Anne slid across the floor on Poltergeist and said, "Mommy, that burned."

TV Guide ad of the debut show of Kate and Allie. I loved that show.

Didn't you want to be one of the pink ladies?

I've got PUNKY POWER! (I wish I had Punky Power right now.)

Great Movie!!

Anyone remember the game Tuba Ruba?

I'll always be an 80s girl at heart! :)

Oh, one more thing...since I have been down for the count, I've had a chance to catch up on some dvr shows and watch lots of Lifetime, but there is one movie that I must mention. I finally got around to watching the movie, THE HANGOVER and OMG that movie cracked me up. It actually kind of hurt me to laugh, but the movie made me smile and I honestly loved it so so much. I just saw Ed Helms on The Ellen Degeneres Show the other day and he confirmed that there will indeed be a HANGOVER 2. They are just about to begin filming, so YAY!

Hope everyone has a great week and thank you again to my dear friends for being there for me.

I wanted to BE Punky Brewster when I was kid. I thought she was the coolest girl on tv for sure!
