I just can't even believe what I witnessed today at the doctors office. I went to the doctor today simply for a routine check-up and I literally almost got sick while waiting to be called back to a room. I hate going to the doctor especially when I'm not sick, but I needed to go for a yearly check-up. This guy comes in and sits down right next to me when there are plenty of other seats available across the waiting area. He sits right next to me and he kept leaning in my direction...it was very strange. This guy STUNK so terribly bad. I mean BAD! Let me take just a moment to describe this fellow to you. Ready? Here goes.
Greasy hair, zits all over his neck that were bleeding, strong pungent odor most likely from lack of showering, snot running down his upper lip (which by the way he kept wiping with the neckline of his stained t-shirt), pants which appeared to be filthy and quite possibly having cat urine and/or poo stains on the pants pockets. I could go on but I've probably given you enough of this disturbing mental image.
Now, let me say this...I understand this guy was most likely ill, hence being at the doctors office; however, there is absolutely no excuse for poor hygiene. I'm going out on a limb here in saying that I bet my doctor had a few choice words for this guy about his appearance and his obvious negligence regarding personal cleanliness. YUCK!
So, now that I've grossed you all out, how are y'all today?

I hate people like that... my boyfriend brother has the worse hygiene... He is 18 and lives at home with his mom and has been home schooled since 3rd grade...
He has just got so lazy and never goes and does anything so he just finds no reason to shower... or when he does he doesnt do a good job.
we are always onto him about it. we make comments, sending hints while we are out around people...
it doesn't seem to bother him. his mom gets onto him too... my boyfriend is nothing like that. his mom says even when he was younger he would shower 2-3 times a day.
the best part is he think my perfume is too strong LMAO!
Ugh that is disgusting! I would have gotten up and moved across the room!! Kudos to you for not being rude and moving. I am not as brave as you are!
Eww! That isn't right! I agree with Lindsay, I would have had to move. Why is it that those people who have the worst hygiene are the ones who are usually the close talkers?
My day has been pretty boring, I still feel like crap so I have done nothing!

Yuck!! What a nasty man!! I agree with these ladies I would have moved, or pretended to go to grab a magazine then sat somewhere else! Even on my sick days I drag my sorry butt to the shower, ugghhh I am sooo sorry you had to deal with that!! BTW I am doing great today, thank you for asking :) Have your received my card yet?
