Watching clips of Solid Gold on You Tube
Most of you probably don't know what Solid Gold is or who the Solid Gold dancers are and that's ok, I'm just showing my age. haha
I used to love, love this show when I was a little girl and you all know I love the 80's music. I just got caught up in it.
I remember really liking that movie "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" with Helen Hunt and Sarah Jessica Parker because it had Dance TV which was similar to Solid Gold.
Oh the 80's, the clothes, the hair, the makeup, the music...What a great time to grow up!
Sorry if y'all think I'm a nerd now.

I love it! I do things like that periodically. I checked out Andy Gibb doing "Shadow Dancing" one night and it went from there. I LOVED that show!
Of course I remember Solid Gold, I even had a Solid Gold Barbie, yes they made a Barbie! That is so funny that you mentioned "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", I swear I was just thinking about that movie today, along with the movie, "Just One of the Guys" another good one! I just watched Girls Just Want to Have Fun a couple of months ago, my husband made fun of me when he walked in and saw what I was watching, I said "It is a classic" now go away!
