One day I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt, the next day I'm wearing a winter coat. One day I'm wearing flip flops, the next day I'm wearing mittens and a scarf. I swear, this is how people get sick going from hot to cold, hot to cold. And now it's a rainy mess with possible sleet and snow in the forecast. Erg.
I really want the weather to cooperate because I have a wonderful day planned tomorrow with my Mom. I don't get to see my Mom that often and I am super excited. We plan to go do some major thrifting, have a nice lunch and just spend some quality time together. We made plans for this weekend because Alan and I are busy the next 3 weekends. Next weekend is Superbowl...GO SAINTS, then the next weekend is Valentines and the following weekend is our one year anniversary.
By the way, any ideas on what to get the hubs for a one year anniversary gift? He'd probably appreciate anything, but I wanted to do something special for him. He's so good to me.
I've already packed a little goodie bag for my Mom. I always give her presents everytime I see her, I love doing that. She is the best Mom! Wish us luck in our thrifting adventures tomorrow and hopefully this weather will calm down.
Also, super excited for happy mail this month. Hi Carol and Haley! Looking forward to getting to know you! And thank you Jamie for heading up Happy Mail for all of us.

I know, the weather in Missouri is crazy too! We have snow falling today and it doesn't look like it will stop anytime soon! Hummm, the traditional 1 year gift is paper, so get him a gift card or tickets to his favorite sports event or concert, you are a good writer, so how about write your love story in a neat journal with room for more stories! To be completly honest with you I didn't get Gabe anything, we went to the city and stayed in a nice hotel and ate at the Cheesecake factory! I am sure he will love anything you give him!

Weather in North Dakota is the same way! Hopefully it cooperates with you for your mom! For our 1 year anniversary we didn't really have much money (we were expecting my daughter in 2 weeks lol) so I took this little tin and I put 2 pictures of us around it. Then on little strips of paper I wrote all the things I love about him and that I love to do with him. Hope you figure out something!
The Tennessee weather isn't much better. Yesterday, it was in the 50s. Today, I'm sitting around waiting for the snow we've been promised to unleash itself. Hasn't happened yet.

-1 with wind chill in Massachusetts. Granted its Massachusetts but it still sucks. We have 40 mph winds and temps are in the teens.

I am bad about buying gifts or knowing what to get Eric. Everything I get, he could buy himself, so then I need to be creative. Usually, I am NON-creative and end up getting him tickets to a basketball game or a gift card to Golf Galaxy or a gift card to his favorite restaurant. But normally I just buy him a card.
However, this year I am off the hook because he knows I am doing my No Shopping and that encompasses gift as well.

The weather in Georgia has been pretty wishy washy too. And I mean that is the noise my feet make when they touch the ground. Well, men have one thing on their minds and if they get that they are happy.

I know, this weather is killing me. I heard that next week it's supposed to be in the 70s.
For our first anniversary I got my husband concert tickets since the traditional gift is paper. I thought it was a great idea and very much appreciated. Good luck!
