For those of you who aren't superstitious, I apologize in advance. I am not normally superstitious myself, that is with ONE exception, FEBRUARY 1st.
This day has been a constant source of all things bad for me and my family. Many horrible things have happened on this day and it seems to carry on each year.
I do not leave the house on February 1st.
I prefer that none of my family does, but alas, Alan must go to work to provide for us and I do appreciate that. I just want him to come home in one piece.
Allow me to explain. Some horrible things have happened in my 35 years and they have all happened on this same day, different years of course.
For example:
My parents divorced on this day
We had a house fire on this day
My grandmother died on this day
Our family dog died on this day
I was in a car accident on this day
As well as some other things like flat tires, car broken into, plumbing problems, etc. This is not a joke. I am dead serious. All of these horrible things have happened to me on February 1st.
This is probably a HUGE coincidence. But, it certainly seems that I need to take every precaution to protect myself and my family from what may happen on this day.
Please pray that nothing bad happens today. If I need to put any of you on the prayer list, please let me know and I'll do just that!
Incidentally, do any of you have a day that is completely jinxed for you?

Well, on February 1st I received a package of goodies from you and I don't think that was a bad thing at all! And they were all in one piece too! Thanks so much for the goodies Kristie, I LOVE THEM ALL! You included all of my favs, owls, birds, trees, red hair pretties! You are too sweet!! By the way, you aren't being silly because I am the same way, but bad things usually happen on my family members birthday, case in point...
One my Dads b-day my best friend was killed in a car accident
on my moms b-day my brother took his own life.
I am sure that there is more I just can't think of them right now!

I for one hope this February 1st is a great day for you!
First of all, I don't believe there is anything such as a coincidence. I believe things happen for a reason & often in patterns like certain days or certain months.
Secondly, I do believe that sometimes if we believe a day or month is unlucky, it can turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy. So I think you need to change your vibration & say that you LOVE February 1. (just a thought!)
As for me, I happen to think March is one freakin' unlucky month as lots of bad things have happened to me in March. This year I am going to try to put a more positive spin on March.

O my gosh!! That is not a fun day for you then! I had horrible New years eve's for about 7 years straight, nothing as bad as yours though, I just always got the flu REALLY bad! Stay safe and happy today!!
