Can you be busy and lazy at the same time?

I had a fantastic long weekend with my sweet hubby, but we didn't really do a whole lot. We basically enjoyed each other and ran a few errands and went out to eat, played some Monopoly (hey, we know how to party!) and we watched the Superbowl! Go Saints! We are super thrilled that The Saints pulled out the win. That interception made by Tracy Porter was AH-mazing. You should've seen Alan, he was jumping up and down like a kid throwing a tantrum. It truly was a sight let me tell you.

Anyway, like I said, we were busy spending quality time together but we didn't actually do anything profound.

Alan took a vacation day on Friday and we went to the post office. Whooooo. Big fun! Then he took me out to eat at a new burger joint called Mooyah.

It was delicious! I had a junior burger and Alan had a turkey burger and we split an order of french fries. I'm always a little nervous about trying something new, I guess it's because I'm a creature of habit. I usually order the same thing I always order when we go to various restaurants. I like what I like.

We then went to Tuesday Morning. I am officially in love with this store. For those of you who don't know what Tuesday Morning is: it's a fabulous discount store where you can buy department store merchandise for upto 50-80% off of retail prices. I bought a ton of stickers and craft supplies and Alan bought some toys. Yes, I said toys. My husband is a large child, but I love him!

I just finished the book "Unsweetined" by Jodie Sweetin and it was very good. I would recommend the book if you like to read memoirs. The highlights of her book are her struggle with addiction and how she overcame it, as well as some inside scoop about the sitcom Full House.

My loving husband just surprised me with the 1st and 2nd seasons of the ever popular sitcom "Too Close For Comfort". Some of you probably won't remember this show, but I loved it!

I also got a new computer game that makes me smile. I swear I am still a kid.

Also, I want to take a moment to thank Ashley from Almost Exactly. She was kind enough to make me a super cute button for my blog. I had a vision of what I wanted and she created it for me!! Thank you, Ashley! Please feel free to add my button to your blog if you so desire.

I will leave you with one more childhood memory. Remember this?
