Childhood Memories Part One

I am seriously thinking of starting a new blog and devoting the entire blog to 80's material. I would definitely want to keep this blog as well so that I can still keep my friends updated on what's going on in my life. I am just so drawn to the decade I grew up in and I suppose that just makes me seem old fashioned and stuck in a rut, but I can't help it, I just love the 80's so much.

I'm not quite sure why I think I can handle another blog with all that I have on my plate right now. No, I don't get up and go to a place of employment everyday like most of you, but I do work. I work hard. Whether it's working on my novel, e-bay or household chores, I keep myself busy.

Would anybody be interested in reading a blog entirely about The 80's? I'm thinking of doing in depth posts about all things 80's like music, toys, movies, tv shows, fashion, fads. I would be open to any suggestions you may have as well.

I am going to leave you with a few childhood memories of mine. Hope you enjoy!

Of course, I have tons more, but I'll save them for another time. Have a wonderful day!

Oh my, I forgot about Poochie and Fashion Plates! I love when you do this, it always makes me remember things about my childhood that I wouldn't have ever thought of if you hadn't posted these things!! Thanks! I hope all is well, I will be shipping your goodies soon, just waiting on some orders to arrive! Love ya!

An 80s blog would be awesome.

Speaking of Strawberry Shortcake, they basically violated our childhoods and left them for dead by "updating" them...I did a post about this on my blog a while ago. I'm STILL not over what they did to Rainbow Brite...

Is it weird that I still keep all of the makeup I don't use on a daily basis in a Caboodle? And, that I just admitted it?!?

Lol I was born in 1988 so I missed the 80's fun! I'd love to learn about all the cool things though! BTW I love reading so many different things, just not horror! M favorites have been celebrity biographies lately. Have you read Kristin Chenowith's yet? I LOVE her and I keep forgetting to buy the book!

I agree with Sadako - The new version of Strawberry Shortcake is just horrible. There was no need to update the sweet Strawberry Shortcake from our day with the one that is out now.

I had Fashion Plates. I LOVED them!!
